Our Mission

Our Why
Too many patients have died of stomach cancer who could have benefited from targeted treatments if they had received timely biomarker testing. The high mortality rate associated with stomach cancer demands we raise awareness of and advocate for biomarker testing, which we know can lead to targeted treatments that improve patient outcomes and increase survival rates.
Test Your Biomarkers, a program of the GI Cancers Alliance, is a collaborative effort that involves researchers, oncologists, patients, advocacy groups and caregivers dedicated to providing newly-diagnosed stomach cancer patients with accurate, current, informative, actionable biomarker information. Our only goal is ensuring all patients understand the need to have biomarker testing early in diagnosis so those results can be factored into current and future treatment decisions.
